From choosing the company type to opening a bank account, the first steps of a foreign-owned company, in a plain order.
Foreign investors in Türkiye can establish companies on largely the same terms as domestic investors. What speeds the process up is preparing documents and decisions in the right order.
Choose the company type
The joint stock company (A.Ş.) and the limited company (Ltd. Şti.) are the two structures foreign investors choose most often. Shareholding, share transfer plans and the management model drive the choice.
Prepare documents early
Apostille and sworn translation of documents issued abroad can take time. Completing this step before incorporation shortens the timeline noticeably.
Plan post-incorporation obligations
After registration come tax registration, e-transformation, the bank account and, where required, foreign investment notifications. Putting these on one timeline also makes regular reporting to headquarters easier.
